Laura Harville is passionate about preventing human trafficking and empowering survivors so they can heal, grow and flourish. Laura brings extensive leadership experience in nonprofit development, including program expansion through successful grant writing, foundation relations and donor engagement. With over 15 years of leadership experience in both Fortune 500 companies and nonprofits, Laura approaches nonprofit development with a combination of sound business strategy and the accountability funders expect.
Laura is currently a full-time consultant at Medtronic (Mpls., MN), where she leads the marketing communications strategy for product launches and market expansion initiatives within the Cardiac Diagnostics and Monitoring division. Former positions include Foundation Relations Officer at Bethel University (St. Paul, MN) and Director of Development at Hispanos en Minnesota (St. Paul, MN). Since 2015, Laura has served RBI as a development consultant (unpaid), with a focus on increasing grant funding for targeted programs, and on rebranding and communications strategies to support broad organizational growth.
As a board member, Laura remains actively committed to expanding the measurable impact of RBI’s programs and services in the fight against human trafficking—both here in the United States and around the world. Married with four daughters, Laura is also active in her church and community, believing that it is only through active collaboration with others that we can truly change the culture and put an end to human trafficking.
