How We Roll

I created Elevate Academy because I had no mentor during one of the busiest, craziest, most exciting but also most terrifying, chapters in my life. I was working a full-time job, married with three kids (our fourth came later) and enrolled in college, but had no one to teach me how to create a self-sustaining business doing what I loved: helping people.

As I learned (and learned the hard way), I gathered bits and pieces, like nuggets of gold, from anyone, anything and every experience. Now I share that with you in Elevate Academy, helping YOU take your life to the next level.

I can’t tell you how thankful I am that Elevate has been successful in helping survivors reimagine their lives. As it’s grown, I’ve hired fellow survivors, advocates and allies to teach, run, mentor and coach the very processes that I first envisioned during that fledgling time when my life was finally taking shape into something Real.

Come join us and let us be those mentors that we never had! Let us help make your dreams into your career, too!

So what is Elevate Academy?

Elevate Academy is a faith-based, online membership site that provides you access to 16 modules, and 16 activities, to really get your hands dirty. It also offers weekly community group discussions with other survivors across the world just like you, and a professional life/career coach to help you with some of those “getting stuck” places. If you really WANT to go after your dreams, to put the hustle and grit into gear, then Elevate is where you’ll find like-minded people, pushing you and encouraging you along the way (and occasionally giving you a metaphorical kick in the..uh…pants. Who doesn’t need that every once in awhile?

How does Elevate work?

At Elevate, you’ll login to access 3 areas: Modules, Community and Coaches. Each module builds on the next, so it’s important to go in order. After you are enrolled and have subscribed, you’ll be able to access all 16 modules of content, plus the ELEVATE Business Advanced course, and Elevate Exclusives. You can go at your own pace: one a day, one a week or one a month! The more you put into it, the more you’ll get out of it, so go after your dreams like you really want them and join now!

Who can enroll?

Currently, Elevate is only open to Survivors of human trafficking. We accept men, women and youth, and any form of trafficking: labor, sex, pimp-controlled, gang-controlled, and familial or survival.

We do plan to open an Advocacy Certification soon, so sign up for our newsletter at the bottom of this page, so you don’t miss out on that announcement ;)

What do I need once I’m enrolled?

We recommend purchasing three important textbooks to get started: Elevate Toolkit, Roadmap to Redemption and John Maxwell’s Developing the Leader Within. You will find links to these on this page.

If you are in need of a textbook scholarship, NO PROBLEM. We’ve all been there!  Just click here to apply for Elevate and indicate that need there.  Otherwise, Elevate and Roadmap to Redemption are available on our website in a bundle for students for only $34.99 and John Maxwell’s book can be found new or used, usually used for nearly 1 penny on Amazon!

What’s included?

Your subscription provides a bunch of great stuff:

  • Access to 16 modules of intensive content: Deeper Levels of Healing, Business Etiquette and Leadership Development.
  • Activities to help work other parts of the brain: charts, crafts and other fun to-do’s
  • WEEKLY community where your mentor offers a live video that you can access to talk and learn more about that week’s topic.
  • Access to the closed Facebook group, allowing you to get to know survivors from all over the world and tap into the group support and camaraderie that naturally develops
  • Access to professional coaching sessions
  • Exclusive access to conference invites before everyone else, special workshops offered by professionals that are only available to YOU: Elevate students and alumni.

What happens AFTER I complete the 16 modules?

GREAT question! Here at RBI we are constantly building fresh, new content, because as WE grow… SO.DO.YOU! That is what’s so brilliant about Elevate; we truly believe that if God put a dream in your heart, then there is room enough for us all! By the time you are done reading this FAQ page, we might even have more exclusive workshops for writers, bloggers or newbie website developers. We are about to also upload the new Professional Business track, helping you really tackle the “how to” start your own business, whether it’s a non-profit or for profit, and much, much, more!

I signed up, now what?

A mentor will contact you within 3-4 days of receiving your application. Then you should be able to log in using the username and password that you set up.

I’m having problems with username/password.

Simply click the “forgot my password” button. You will receive a new link to the email that you provided when enrolling.

How do I get involved with other members?

This is the great part about Elevate. You get to connect with hundreds of survivors across the world just like you--who love Jesus and want to go after ALL that their future has in store for them. Simply click the “Community” button after you log in, and you’ll be redirected to the Elevate Connect community group where live discussions and support are always available!

Where do I meet my coach?

After logging into Elevate, click the “Coaches” button to watch a video of our variety of professional coaches. Pick which one you like best and then schedule a session with her using the calendar link below each of their videos.

Can I get an appointment with Rebecca directly?

I really want to serve you and would LOVE to sit over coffee, or a jalapeno margarita and get to know you. Unfortunately, due to my busy speaking and writing schedule and having FOUR daughters (and my man, girl), I’m not currently able to take on any more. I am, however, able to occasionally pop on live in the Community Group, or you can catch me at the next conference or event!

I’m overwhelmed…help!

We get it. The first weeks of Elevate can be intimidating, especially as we start to go through some deeper areas of healing. Should you feel overwhelmed or triggered through any part of Elevate, please, please, please reach out to your Teacher directly on the Community group.
